Aurichalcum is home to our dual purpose gundogs (currently 6 Pointers and two GSPs, although Vizslas and Irish Red & White Setters have shared our home in the past) who are happy to live in the home alongside us, are shown, and give good account of themselves in the field.

Other people who own Aurichalcums can also expect to have a well adjusted family member, just as content to be an active loving companion, show dog, agility dog or working dog.

We are not a commercial kennel. Our dogs are part of the family, and live accordingly. We strive to produce happy and healthy dogs - we breed only when we wish to add another dog to our family. We live in Wiltshire, near the Marlborough Downs which means the dogs get plenty of free running exercise, as befits their breeding. We are members of the KC Accredited Breeder Scheme, and our dogs are hipscored. 

Currently our family consists of  Rio, Paris, Purdey, Nando, Beckett, Vienna, Rush, Briar & Bounty. Although HPRs have been a large part of our lives here at Aurichalcum, this website is currently focusing on the pointers, but check back for updates and expansion to include the continentals!
