Rio is our liver/white girl born August 1997, otherwise known as Hookwood Aces High at Aurichalcum. She is sired by Sh Ch Vossmead Gambler of Crookrise, out of Ir Sh Ch Hookwood Its All The Rage. She is the mother of Paris and Purdey, and also of Indie who is sadly gone but never forgotten.

Rio has equitted herself quite well in the showring, being consistently in the cards, but as a brood she excelled herself. She has produced a Ch/Ir Ch, a further CC winner, and is the grandmother of two further CC winners to date. Rio has also been a constant addition to the shooting team, ever reliable and keen. 

Paris, Aurichalcum The Last Tango, born August 2000, is Rio's daughter from her first litter, sired by Lynwater Atlantic Crossing of Crookrise. She has a CC and BOB to her name, and also several Green Stars, but her show career was somewhat disturbed by an accident resulting in her breaking a leg. Paris however produced two CC winners in her first litter to Sh Ch Scobec Lookin Dapper, one of which has also attained her SGWC (Diana Young's Aurichalcum Two To Tango).  We have her younger daughter Blondie, and she has made a promising start to her show career this year in the puppy classes.
